We went to see some new friends in Santa Ana
yesterday. We met up in a restaurant, Lola Gaspar. ( Put that name in
mind if you happen to pass by.) The food was fantastic, and so were the
drinks and service.
I´ve especially fell for a drink
called The Latitude. Badaboom!!! I had an explosion of green chili in
my mouth. And I wanted another one of course.;)BUT! If you are into drinks I can tell you that I don´t know the whole recipe of that drink but I can kind of make one up right now...
It
consisted of (trying to remember, guessing...) mezcal, ( yes, the Mexican
liquor with a worm in the bottom, I´m tough, you know ), ginger, crushed green chili and
probably lime...It was served in a whiskeyglass with an oversized ice cube
in it. And of course there was half of a green chili in it for the
decoration...! Madre Mia, Caramba, Mamasita tenido calor...!
If anyone knows the real recipe, please let me know;)
Until next time...Drop it like it´s hot;)
